Sony Ericsson’s Yendo Full Touch screen Walkman Phone

Not too sure, but it may be called the Yendo (it is apparently in Japan). Sony Ericsson may soon unveil a cute Full Touch Screen Walkman Phone called the YENDO. As you can see, it bears remarkable similarity to the XPERIA X10 Mini including the four-corner touch UI.

The Yendo sports a 2.6 inch size screen with 262k colors and 320×240 resolution. It only weighs 81 grammes, measures in at 93.5 x 52 x 15.8 mm, has a zippy 720MHz processor, a universal 3.5 mm audio jack, Bluetooth, Micro USB support, obviously pre-loaded with Facebook, Orkut, and Twitter apps, FM radio, Java as well as Bluetooth stereo (A2DP), MP3/AAC music tones, Walkman Player and TrackID.

The phone is inclined to music and as expected, it does have a rather weak camera with 2.0 Mega pixels.

Coming soon in Q3 of 2010 and will be available in many colors: Black, Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, Silver, White and Yellow. Key features given below,

Sony Spyro and Zylo

Sony will be launching 2 not so advanced phones called the Spyro and Zylo. Sony calls them “affordable without compromise on features”. Both the Spyro and Zylo not only promise good music experience but also access to social networking sites of Twitter and Facebook. Furthermore, they have Track ID function allowing you access to the name of the song and the artist of the music you are playing.

Seems like a Samsung Corby competitor with a Motorolla ability.

Windows Mobile 6.5.3 on Sony Ericssons Aspen Phone

Sony Ericsson’s not been having a very good year, thanks to Android Phones. Their new Aspen smart phone will run on Windows Mobile 6.5.3.

It’s the first handset to run on the latest version of Windows Mobile, and it’s surprisingly a huge step up over anything we’ve seen in Microsoft’s OS previously. It’s more intuitive to use, and supports capacitive screens with multitouch.

The phone features a QWERTY key layout, has a 2.4-inch QVGA TFT touchscreen display, A-GPS, 3.2-megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

What makes the Aspen eco-friendly? The power-saving mode, eco mate application, GreenHeart panel and the charger and box are made from recycled materials.

Sony Ericsson Kurara – Mobile HD Video

Coming soon is the Sony Ericsson Kurara. Loaded with a 8.0 Megapixel camera, thankfully a 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB charger point. It also may be loaded with a AMOLED screen and the immensely powerful ARM Cortex A8 Processor with 256MB of RAM that could make it a blazing performer. The phone also comes with a dedicated graphics chip.

What makes the phone different? Do you see a ‘HD’ logo on the back of the phone camera lens? Video capture is expected to max out at 720p!

The phone is expected to cost around INR 28,000 approx.

Sony has launched the new 16GB S745, featuring a 2-inch screen, noise-canceling earphones, a slim case. It has a five-way D-pad.

It is Sony Ericsson’s latest addition to the Android range of phones. Many of us have heard of the older SE Xperia which costed Rs 40,000?, when it was first launched? This on the other hand is the Xperia X10. Its completely revamped with a new OS called UX and a brand new processor in it.

Sony has been quite lately. Guess what?, the new Aino multimedia phone is about to hit the shelves near you soon. It is a slider mobile phone with a 8.1 Megapixel camera, WiFi and costs around Rs 25,000. It features a touch screen as well as a regular keypad. Sony has built the Aino as an entertainment phone and it does impress with some of its features.
