HDBaseT gives more competition to HDMI
Did you just buy that expensive HDMI cable? Oops! Looks like HDMI will need to do a lot more to stay in the market. LG Electronics, Samsung and Sony all backed the HDBaseT Alliance this week, a new wired standard known as HDBaseT for the living room, that hopes to replace the current set HDMI cable standard.
