The new Nvidia’s GTX 480′s leaked pictures are nearly out, but ATIs Radeon HD 5970 may not feel the heat until this September. The new Radeon HD 5970 is based on the same ultimate ATI HD 5970 chipset. Predominantly is is by far the new world’s fastest graphics card. Slashgear claims its 3DMark Vantage score is an insane 22,000!
Sapphire HD 5970
The card is overclocked and this ATI’s GPU runs at 850MHz, which is clubbed with 4GB of GDDR5 RAM (itself, clocked at 1,200MHz). All this power and there is a lot of heat generated, hence, three fans are used with a massive heat-sink.

Outputs include two dual-link DVIs and one mini DisplayPort. ATI felt there was no need of HDMI so those of you who have purchased those expensive HDMI cables, bad news for you.
